Does Jesus forgive a robber during the crucifixion ?

 
Examining the story of crucifixion according to Matthew 27:32 and Luke 23:33, we realize that Luke relates the story of the good robber that is defended by Jesus, while the other crucified robber insults him. According to Matthew, both robbers insult Jesus, and the Heaven is promised to none of them. Consequently, it comes spontaneous to affirm that, if the story told by Luke really happened, then the one told by Matthew would result invalid. Considering that according to Matthew both robbers insult Jesus in "the same" way, to which one of these he would have assured the Heaven?


Matthew 27:32-56 - The Crucifixion

32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross. 33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, 34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted [thereof], he would not drink. 35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. 36 And sitting down they watched him there; 37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left. 39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, 40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest [it] in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. 41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking [him], with the scribes and elders, said, 42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. 43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. 44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth. 45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? 47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard [that], said, This [man] calleth for Elias. 48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled [it] with vinegar, and put [it] on a reed, and gave him to drink. 49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him. 50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. 55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: 56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.

Luke 23:33-48 - The Crucifixion

33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided [him], saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. 36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, 37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. 38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. 44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. 47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man. 48 And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

Consider the lilies of the field

 
Matthew 6:28-29
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

I want to make a suggestion to the fashion stylists, which could propose to the Vatican to redesign the clergy garments, so that they could send the actual clothing to che collectors to put them on sale, and devolve all the money raised to the orphanages worldwide, where the lilies of our field germinate.

A thought on the 47-th saying of the Gospel of Thomas

 
47. Jesus said, "A person cannot ride two horses or to bend two bows. And a slave cannot serve two masters, otherwise the slave will honor one and offend the other. Nobody drinks mature wine and immediately after wants to drink young wine. Young wine is not poured into old wineskins, otherwise it spoils. An old patch is not sewn onto a new garment, since it would tear."

Paul of Tarsus seems to be in the saddle of two horses and to serve two masters at the same time, the Judaism and the Christianity; he gave up drinking seasoned wine quickly (the passion for the Jewish tradition with consequent persecution towards the Christians), in order to drink young wine (the conversion to Christianity). He pours the young wine in old wineskins and sews the old patch on the new garment in assimilating the new message of Jesus to the one of the Jewish tradition.

Knock and it will be opened to you, but you won’t be able to enter.

 
In the figure no.1 is presented the adhesive note distribuited by the priest of San Ferdinando (RC), the one that is also attached next to the intercom system of his residence.
The translation of the note sounds like this: “IN ATTENTION OF THE WITNESSES OF JEHOVAH. DO NOT KNOCK, FOR WE ARE CATHOLICS. Holy face, Blessed Virgin Mary, protect this house and deliver us from every evil.
This images are freely distributed by “CASA DEL VOLTO SANTO”, 54 Ponti Rossi Ave., Naples.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: REMOVE THE PAPER BELOW AND APPLY THE STICKY IMAGE OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR, WITHOUT ADDING ANY WATER.”
In the figure no.2 is presented a foto of the message attached next to the intercom system of my residence, just the next day that I have sent to the priest a letter in which I express my unequivocal wish of not being considered anymore as an adherent of the religious confession called “The Roman Catholic Apostolic Church” and I also demand to be made this annotation in the christened registry.
In the message attached outside my door, it is written as it follows: “If you are a priest, you can ring this door bell and wait at the door, for the priests are not worthy to enter this house, Carmelo Renda”
Of course now, it comes spontaneous the reader’s question, if I am a Witness of Jehovah or not; the answer is no. Today I consider myself a Christian, but not a Catholic.
Imagine if I were a Witness of Jehovah and I had attached a note with the same characteristics to the one that the priest has distributed; I would have had to write like this: “Do not ring this door bell if you are catholic, for we are Witnesses of Jehovah”. I would have prevented the entrance into my house of acquaintances and relatives of catholic religion.

Are we free to choose our own religion?

 
I have already made my choice but, because of the catholic church, I wasn’t able to carry it out yet; the religion that I have chosen teaches that one can not be a christian if he is a catholic at the same time; peace to those that have to convert to the non-catholic Christianity.
On 26-04-2006, I have sent a letter to the priest to ask to be annotated in the christened persons registry that I do not want to be considered as a catholic anymore, and still no answer; yet, this has become a procedure already effected and allowed by the Italian law even if it remains slow with the explicit purpose of discouraging the cancellation.
There are various excerpts of the canonical gospels in which Jesus refuses to bring with him persons that demand it; for example I take some verses from the chapter 5 of the Gospel of Mark: 18 As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. 19 Jesus did not let him, but said, "Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you."
The excerpts similar to this, are therefore so recurrent to ascertain that the behaviour which the Catholic church is adopting, is diametrically opposite to the one that is written in the gospels. Someone has asked me, why I can not change my religion keeping on being written down in the christened persons registry. “Why it is so important to be cancelled from the registry?”
The answer is that, the catholic church continues to become stronger thanks to the conspicuous number of the persons written down in the christened persons registry, that automatically are considered as adherents and supporters of the catholic church, and my point is that their number can also remain conspicuous without the name of Carmelo Renda.
I do not wish to continue to give my support to those who consider the religion as a political party in which the most important thing remains the number of the persons enrolled.
Seeing that the annotation procedure on the christened persons registry is so long and laborious, I have decided therefore to constitute the Registry of the not-catholic Christians that will continue to exist even if the procedure will become faster and easier, and where can ask to be written down whoever wants to cancel himself from being a catholic in order to undertake the road of the Christian faith.
Shortly, I will expose the procedure of registration, peace to all the persons of good will.

An open letter to the priest of San Ferdinando

 
I have received today the confirmation letter of my annotation request, and I am about to send another letter to the priest, which is presented below, because his answer doesn't convince me.

For the Attention of Priest of the parish of St. Ferdinando RC, 25.05.2006

Dear Mr. Biondo Arcangelo,
This is an open letter, so everyone can read it by accessing my site www.vangeloditommaso.it.

On 25-05-06, I have received your confirmation letter as an answer to my request for not being considered a Catholic anymore, in which you write like this:
“We communicate to Mr. Carmelo Renda that on the Christenings Registry of this parish, on date 26-04-2006 was mentioned the ‘defection from the faith’, as requested."
Mr. Blond Archangel,
I want to underline that I have not abandoned any faith. I have only asked not to be a part to the Catholic church.
If on the Christened Persons Registry has been notified “Defection from the faith”, I kindly ask you to correct it and to write a phrase that expresses more obvious that I don't want to be considered a Catholic, like this "Carmelo Renda doesn't want to be considered an adherent of the religious confession called “The Roman Catholic Apostolic Church”
To avoid wasting any of your time on searching the internet, I present here a part of the recent content that has been published on my site, www.6i66ia.com:

The mystery of the beast that “rises” from the earth and which is described in the Apocalypse of John, is revealed below.
Book of Revelation (The Apocalypse of John) 13:18 "This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666."
Its number is revealed by replacing the letter "b" with the number "6" in the word "bibbia" (bible) and results "6i66ia".
The beast that "rises" from the earth, has two horns like a lamb but it speaks like a dragon. The lamb horns symbolize the good appearance but the fact that it speaks like a dragon, is the proof of its evil essence; in fact, the words reveal the true nature, for they are a thought manifestation .
Book of Revelation 13:16 "16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, .."
The mark on the forehead is the catholic christening and the mark on the hand is the wedding ring.
Book of Revelation 14:9-11 " 9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, 10 he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."
It is necessary to avoid the beast's mark, and this means that we don't have to be christened by the catholic church and, at the same time, considering all the books of the bible sacred, means to be marked by its name : "6i66ia".
The Book of Revelation is an invitation to don't adore the beast, and any name written down in the Christened Persons Registry means an adherence and therefore a support for that religion, this is why we should make the annotation request demanding not to be considered a catholic anymore.
Its name, "6i66ia" is revealed by an italian word to identify at the same time the residence of the beast, the State of the Vatican City.
How to make a request to be cancelled as an adherent of the catholic church?
The procedure is settled by the Article 7 of the Legislative Decree n.196/2003.
It can be made by sending to the priest a request to annotate on the Christened Persons Registry that you do not want to be considered an adherent of the catholic church. Click here to see the Request Form.
For obvious reasons, the priest often delays in replying to requests or does not give any answer. I have decided therefore to institute a registry containing the names of the persons who have already sent or wish to send the request to the priest.
The main purpose of this registry is to maintain informed the persons on my research, to keep together those who still believe in the message of Jesus Christ and also to "stimulate" the Catholic Church to be prompt in replying to requests and always be respectful toward the individual's wish for not belonging to their organization anymore.
