Seeing and perceving

15. Jesus said, "When you see one who was not born of woman, prostrate yourself and worship him. That is your Father."
I think in this phrase from The Gospel of Thomas, the verb "to see" means "to perceive with certainty".
This would justify the apparent contradiction of the saying 84, where the verb "to see" assumes the sense "to perceive with certainty", too.

84. Jesus said, " When you see what it resembles you, you are contented. But when you will see the images that came into being before you and that don't die neither they become visible, how much you will have to bear!"

Indeed, how is it possible seeing images that are not visibile?

The house on rock

I think The Gospel of Thomas contains the words to which Jesus referred when he said:
(Lu 6:47-49)
[24] «Therefore, whoever listens these words of mine and puts them into practice will be compared to a wise man who built his house on rock. [25] The rain fell, the streams came, the winds blew and beat upon that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. [26] And whoever listens these words of mine and does not put them into practice, will be compared to a foolish man who built his house on sand. [27] The rain fell, the streams came, the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell and great was the it's downfall.»

For this reason, it is fundamental the importance of knowing the words that Jesus has truly pronounced; omitting the words written in The Gospel of Thomas would mean start building one's own house on the sand.

The hidden truth

I have seen a street full of banknotes, of those false, a place where the magician promotes his activity scattering them for the road; among those, there was an authentic one that nobody lowered to take it because it was considered a fake.

The curiosity regarding Faith

It is not a sin to ask questions for curiosity on the mysteries of the Faith,
to answer for satisfying a curiosity may be a sin.

I have two questions

Have you ever had the desire to tell a thing to the whole world, with the feeling that no one would have ever listened to you?
Have you ever had the desire to say a thing, to only one person, with the feeling that the whole world would have known it?

Who revealed it?

Jesus explains a parable to his disciples, saying that to the crowds it is spoken in parables because to them it is not given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God, mysteries that were openly revealed to the disciples because to them it was given to know.
Considering that the explanation of the parable was reserved to the disciples, it seems to me a pure contradiction that it became public.
Who has made public the explanation that He had done to his disciples? and why?

Luke 8:4,15
4 When a large crowd gathered, with people from one town after another journeying to him, he spoke in a parable.
5 "A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some seed fell on the path and was trampled, and the birds of the sky ate it up.
6 Some seed fell on rocky ground, and when it grew, it withered for lack of moisture.
7 Some seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew with it and choked it.
8 And some seed fell on good soil, and when it grew, it produced fruit a hundredfold." After saying this, he called out, "Whoever has ears to hear ought to hear."
9 Then his disciples asked him what the meaning of this parable might be.
10 He answered, "Knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been granted to you; but to the rest, they are made known through parables so that 'they may look but not see, and hear but not understand.'
11 "This is the meaning of the parable. The seed is the word of God.
12 Those on the path are the ones who have heard, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts that they may not believe and be saved.
13 Those on rocky ground are the ones who, when they hear, receive the word with joy, but they have no root; they believe only for a time and fall away in time of trial.
14 As for the seed that fell among thorns, they are the ones who have heard, but as they go along, they are choked by the anxieties and riches and pleasures of life, and they fail to produce mature fruit.
15 But as for the seed that fell on rich soil, they are the ones who, when they have heard the word, embrace it with a generous and good heart, and bear fruit through perseverance.
